India’s employment landscape is changing as very large scale mobile and electronics manufacturing comes to India, thanks to the Make in India initiative rolling out or notifying schemes like Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI), Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors (SPECS) and Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters Scheme (EMC 2.0), Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI), etc.

These schemes are expected to attract significant electronics manufacturing to India. Since Electronics Manufacturing requires higher skill than the traditional manufacturing, Prastav seeks to fill this gap to benefit both - the manufacturers seeking to hire and recruit skilled staff and the staff themselves to help shape their careers in the right direction. To achieve its objectives, Prastav aims to work with the support of various skilling schemes being run by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), State Skill Missions, etc
